Paper & Technique

Most of the stencils can be done on plain paper (about 56x77cm), thick watercolour paper (about 57x77cm), The Daily Telegraph (about 57x73cm) or an Urbox (about 69x76x4cm, see below). The plain paper & The Daily Telegraph can come with plastic hangers and nails ready to hang for free, just ask me, Steeve when you order. The watercolour paper is handmade in India with interesting, rough edges and needs framing, float mounting works best. The Urboxes can go straight up on a convenient hook, as well. They are not prints as each one is done specifically for you so some colours can vary slightly and you can have something personalized about it too if you want.

The paper option.

They can come with FREE crossbars and nails, so yours will be ready to hang; all you have to do is contact me, Steeve, and ask.

The Daily Telegraph option.

You can choose to habe yours sprayed onto the pages of The Daily Telegraph, "borrowed" from the pub, then emulsioned with a specially formulated paint which provides a random texture and a finish that suits the "Urban" concept; if you're lucky, you might get a half-finished crossword! They can come with FREE crossbars and nails, so yours will be ready to hang; all you have to do is contact me, Steeve, and ask.

Thick watercolour paper being made.

The paintings can sprayed onto gorgeous, Indian, handmade paper sheets (100% cotton rag, 240 gsm, 56x76cm). But will need to be framed.

The Urban box or Urbox.

They are covered in newspaper cuttings and are handmade by people who wish to work to supplement their income. The boxes measure 590x760x45 mm, look really cool, have an urban feel, and are ready to hang, so there is no need to buy an expensive frame.
