A 100,000 years ago an animal, now called, an animal had evolved from Homo heidelbergensis. One such animal sat in a cave in South Africa and did something never seen before and for the first time ever and so marked a point where this new species became distinct from any other animal before or since. For the first time ever an animal made a symbolic representation of a thought an idea an emotion that existed solely in its (and now his or her) head so that all others could see it. Through one abstract painting from which all others that followed were derivative - an animal became Man. This remarkable painting along with some other minor or preliminary works were discovered in Blombos Cave in 2002. There have been many great works of art since, but this man invented it and painted the greatest painting of all time. “This is a spray stencil copy of his masterpiece and I can do one similar just for you, but remember the dude who started it all” - Sly
